The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course will prepare you to recognize and care for emergencies involving adults, children and infants and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. This course teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age.

Successful participants will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

The American Red Cross Adult First Aid/CPR/AED course will prepare you to recognize and care for emergencies involving adults and meets OSHA/workplace requirements. This course teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies for victims about 12 years and older.

Successful participants will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Adult First Aid/CPR/AED valid for two years.

Babysitter’s Training

Babysitter’s Training

$105 Per participant
Course Length: 7 hours

The American Red Cross Babysitter’s Training course provides the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly care for children and infants. The course consists of interactive lessons featuring video, activities, games and tools babysitters can use to build their knowledge and skills, manage their babysitting business, develop leadership skills and keep themselves and others safe, as well as basic first aid for children and infants.

The recommended age for this course is 11-15 years old.

Successful students will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Babysitter’s Training valid for 10 years.

Basic Water Rescue

Basic Water Rescue

Course Length: 4 hours

The American Red Cross Basic Water Rescue course provides participants basic knowledge and skills necessary to prevent, recognize and respond to aquatic emergencies. BWR is intended for public safety personnel, camp personnel and day trip leaders, daycare workers, school teachers, aquatic fitness instructors, and aquatic therapists. All skills are done in water less than chest deep. There is a written test for this class.

Successful participants will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Basic Water Rescue valid for three years.

Bloodborne Pathogens Training

Bloodborne Pathogens Training

$75 Per participant
Course Length: 1 hour

The American Red Cross Bloodborne Pathogens Training course is designed to assist employers with meeting the training mandate as stipulated in the federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Bloodborne Pathogens Standard. Participants learn how to protect themselves and others from exposure to bloodborne pathogens on the job and what to do if an exposure occurs.

The course addresses what bloodborne pathogens are, how bloodborne pathogens are spread, how to help prevent exposure incidents by following work practice controls, using engineering controls and personal protective equipment (PPE), practicing good personal hygiene and properly cleaning and disinfecting equipment and supplies, and how to recognize, report and follow up on employee exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials.

Successful participants will receive an American Red Cross certificate for Bloodborne Pathogens valid for one year.
